Welcome to our website! Some of you may not know us, so here's a short blog for you to get to know LikhAria and how we can help you grow the music in you.
When did you start teaching music?
Our school started as a small violin studio of Ms. Liza in Sampaloc, Manila back in 2008. She caters mostly to adult beginners and in a group setting. Through blogging, she was able to reach more students and eventually it grew. Together with his husband, Jm Besana, they started KeyStrings. It's the first name of our school. Given that we mostly offer Piano (Keyboard) and Violin (Strings), so they name the school as such. They also perform for wedding events and they used the same name as well.
WHY LIKHARIA?
We wanted to separate the brand KeyStrings as events musician from the music school. LikhAria is a coined name of LIKHA, which means to create and ARIA, which is an Italian song form. We always aim for our students to Learn, Play and Create.
How do we grow the music in us?
Know WHY you would like to learn an instrument. This will fuel you when you feel like you want to give up in learning or practicing.
Find a reputable institution or teacher that would allow you to achieve your goals in your musical journey
Allow your teacher to mentor you as well
Discover your musicality through the community. We will be opening our forum soon, so you can join our Ma-LikhAria Community
Join performances! As scary as it may sound, this can allow you to get out of your comfort zone and release yourself from growing musically
